SPONSOR LICENCE COMPLIANCE
Once an organisation has been granted a sponsor licence, it must ensure that it meets its ongoing compliance duties.
Your duties as a sponsor include:
- reporting duties
- record-keeping duties
- right to work checks
- not engaging in behaviour or actions that are not conducive to the public good
Failure to comply with your sponsor duties may lead to your licence being downgraded, suspended or revoked. The Home Office may also report you to the police or other relevant authorities.
It is therefore extremely important that you comply with your sponsor duties. However this can be time consuming for your HR team and it may be difficult to keep up with the ever-changing immigration law.
Templeton Legal Services can provide the necessary support to ensure that your organisation is fulfilling its compliance duties. This can include advice, training and assistance with use of the Sponsor Management System (SMS).
We can also assist you if your sponsor licence has been downgraded, suspended or revoked.
